'Bias' is a noun, 'biased' is an adjective- don't suppose anybody cares. 'Pundit' is a wise man who offers advice- not quite sure what a
' pundint' is but Sarah doesn't care what they think, whoever they are!
It wasn't a debate, it was a reprise of campaign talking points, read from cards, in a rather obvious way. It didn't seem to matter what the question was, the answer was ready to go.Couldn't they hire a speech therapist to help her with her 'gs' and to pronounce the word ' nuclear'? It's really not that hard. How about we make a rule that says, if you can't pronounce the word, you can't have the keys?

Mash, if Rollins is in the tank for Palin, then Rosen is in the tank for Biden. Both Rollins and Rosen gave lots of points to their candidates. They're pundits, what do you expect? Should they only keep people who support Obama?

Ms. Palin is being exploited. I would be mad as hell if she were my relative, just based on the fact that she is out of her league.
No doubt about it, Sarah is smart, attractive, and I am sure that she is a great politician in her neck of the woods.
Let's get real.
We have too many well-educated women in the United States to settle for Sarah Palin as our next VP; women in corporate America, with advanced degrees, whom have knowledge of the world situation, and of economics.

Let's not settle for the "feel good" .

At one point in the debate, Gov. Palin mocked Sen. Biden's having said that paying taxes is patriotic. As far as I can tell, no one has bothered to challenge Gov. Palin on her comment. Of course paying taxes is patriotic! If patriotism is defined as making some sort genuine sacrifice for the greater good of the country, then paying taxes is the most patriotic thing many Americans do all year. Or how about pointing out the obvious: if (a) supporting the troops is patriotic, and (b) supporting our troops requires spending money to provide them with what they need, and (c) in order to have money to spend, the government must collect taxes, then (d) paying taxes is the one of the most tangibly patriotic acts that non-enlisted Americans can do.

By asserting that paying taxes is patriotic, we are acknowledging the magnitude of the burden and the sacrifice Americans have to make in turning over so much of their hard earned money to the government every year. In describing it as patriotic, we are recognizing that it is not something anyone wants to do, but at the same time that it is necessary for the greater good of the country. As Sen. Biden might have pointed out, that is the very definition of patriotism. Quite literally, we are putting our money where our mouths are. If talking about supporting our troops is patriotic, isn't it also patriotic when Americans actually pay to support them?

Wow this Sarah Palin character is so beyond me.This is one of the rudest woman I've seen on television since Rosanne Barr. I watched Sarah try to beliitle the moderator in the first couple of minutes because she knew she couldn't handle the test. She was frustrated when she saw that Biden wasn't playing her game. I seen fear in her eyes.She is so arrogant,and I don't think she'll come by and have a six pack with my kind of folks. She's the biggest flop since Nicholas Cage last movie.

Has it occurred to anyone that John McCain is making a conscious effort to fail. I feel he realizes he does not want to be President. He is so old and this is a tough job ahead for even a younger, healthy person. If that is not the case, he is definitely incompetent for the job considering all the stupid mistakes he has made. There were other options for Vice President and he picked the worse one. Also, Palin should have declined the offer and stayed in the wilderness.

Rather than an authentic woman, I found Govenor Palin disingenuous throughout the debate. Even her seemingly congenial opening, asking Senator Biden if she could call him Joe, if I'm not mistaken, the only time she did was her pathetic canned "say it ain't so, Joe. " Govenor Palin as a vice presidential running mate is a very clear example of Senator McCain's recklessly flawed judgment.

watching the debate i kept waiting for sarah palin to throw up!! she remined me of someone saying an easter speech..she had t say the entire reheared answer because if she did not she would get off track and confused! biden is pathetic and so is his choice for vp...on the other hand i thought biden viewed palin as a daughter and took it easy on her..i did not like biden until i saw how much love and compassion he showed for mccains idiot of a vp...biden really felt sorry for her..too bad palin does not have as much compassion for her family!

sarah plain did so well because the standard was so low! sarah plain was so nervous i thought she was gonna ask to buy a vowel..i do not think the narrator should have been allowed to oversee the debate...since whe is a out of the closet obama/biden supporter she did not get to press sarah plain on any issues..in addition did anyone happen to notice how much the first dude was enjoying the cameras? and sarah plain did not seem to comfortable holding trig...john mcain has handed obama the presidency and he cant blame anyone but himself! go obama!!!!

I think that you need to change the titles of the excerpts from last night’s Biden and Palin appearance that you are airing, from Palin vs. Biden Debate, to Palin Speech vs. Biden Debate. Palin stated in the first few moments of her presentation that she had no intention of engaging in a debate, but that she would respond to any question with an answer that she felt like giving. I do not believe that is debating. The event was presented to the public as a debate, not as Palin speech and Biden debate. Please correct this misleading information.

WOOOW…Palin was great??!!
I sat in amazement as she just kept repeating her transcript and NOT answering question.
Even in HIGH SCHOOL just saying “YES I AGREE” to an answer is considered to be an insufficient answer.

Palin would say YES I AGREE to a question and then go ahead and repeat the messages she had on the q-cards that she had ALREADY repeated all night long.

This clearly reflects the fact that she doesn’t have views on MOST ISSUES that are very important to the American people, and the reason she doesn’t have a view is because she doesn’t even understand what the question nor what the issue is!

I mean last night my mouth just hung open in awww, I felt as if I could have gone up for VP.

This just KILLS THE McCane-Palin ticket for me.

I do not understand how some of you can say she did good when she clearly didn’t understand the questions most of the time.
Just because she spoke in “plain English” doesn’t mean that you should vote for her! We need some knowledgeable people who have good insight in a number of issues, understand the issues and who are capable of leading/guiding our senate in improving America’s future.

I’m still in disbelief here (just shaking my head)….

I agree with David Gergen's comments about Sarah Palin and last nights debate, however, I am frustrated by CNN, though I think the broadcast is always informative and well done; especially Anderson Cooper's 360, your opinions always come through, and commentatorship is so biased toward the left of center. News broadcasts should not be structured as to influence public opinion!.

Palin played to her strengths by talking straight to the American people. No she doesn’t have as much experience in high level politics as Joe Biden, but that doesn’t mean she can’t do a good job. Bill Clinton was a Governor of an even smaller state and did a great job. She represents the ideal that the average American can still run for higher offices.

FYI a Katie Curic is a stupid thing to fall back on for a reason to NOT vote for anyone...Curic is just a person, a bias person, and she really does not matter, really, we –the electorate-our opinions matter.

Also-Biden CANNOT win a debate by flat out being wrong.....He was wrong on 10 different occasions that can be LOOKED UP PEOPLE!!! WRONG on how McCain voted, WRONG ON THE CONSTITUTION!!!! He said that Article 1 of the constitution was about the Executive Branch.....it is about the Legislative Branch. I am sorry a Congress man ought to know the constitution inside and out. There are only 7 Articles to the constitution....not a lot to get mixed up.

Face it, Palin erased any stigmas against her. When someone can hold their own against someone who has a 100% more time on the national stage....I say you won Sarah Palin. AND AND I get her....she does not give a crap about what the media thinks...which controls the way YOU vote because most people only rely on little Headlines instead of reading and taking the time to research your vote. Most people that I speak with that are voting for Obama are voting for him because he is a good speaker, or he is Black, or he is not a Republican, or he did not vote for the war. I mean what reasons....what educated votes. I am not voting for him because, he has NEVER clearly answered a question in DEPTH about how he plans to pursue any of his policies. And for the fact that with his tax increases, my boss will have to lay off employees. And his Med Insurance Plan....you have to go to a Doctor the Government PICKS for you, you have the government running your choices of medical care, if they think the doctor was wrong in you needing a MRI, you don't get one.

Bottom line, vote Obama, vote McCain...but don't vote Obma because the media is brainwashing you too...AND they are!
