The baby squirrel is so cute! So small and helpless. By the way, I've never seen a baby pigeon either Anderson. They might look like the adults right when they leave the nest? I'm not sure.

Tucker the elephant carries a big stick – and a mini-squirrel makes some new friends – but that "cat from the darkside" needs to start a fan club!

Thanks for the happy stories in the midst of a rather depressing week surrounding storm recovery, and the economy, and the presidential candidate babble. You can never go wrong with cute animal videos.

Anderson is right. You don't generally see baby squirrels or baby pigeons. That's because in these particular species, the skin and fur/feathers is the last part of the animal to develop. They don't typically emerge until the animal is about 12 – 14 months old. Until then, they are creatures that only their mothers can find. Isn't nature wonderful?

Elephants are one of my favourite animals! They maybe large, & rather clumsy sometimes, but are hard-working, have long memories & are loyal creatures.

Squirrels are cute! I use to see them runnng around in the trees outside my windows....
