When is the media going to stand up and demand, on behalf of all Americans, questions and answers from Sarah Palin? This is a slap in the face to those Americans who take their voting priviledges seriously. Since when has a VP candidate hidden from the media?

I just think in a presidential campaign you should focus on who can make better health care, better education and make people but more money in their pockets.

We're starting to get a general picture of Sarah Palin so people can start to make up their minds. But where does she stand on issues of national security? And how much does she know? We need to know these things if we are going to make this candidate Vice President. Meanwhile, she is hiding from the media. WE NEED TO KNOW.

Why isn't Joe Biden attacking Sarah Palin's stump speech? Palin has used the same speech from the convention over and over and over. I know I'm not the only one noticing this, so why isn't the Obama Campaign picking up on this?

Prime Time Palin, more like one hit wonder palin... I am sick of her repetitive prompter speech on the campaign trail. I wish someone would expose her for the fraud that she is. And I wish someone would expose McCain for the fraud that he is turning out to be. He said he would rather lose and election that let his country lose a war... But now pandering fested choice of Palin, we can clearly see that McCain would certainly do anything to win this election.

The polls also said that Hillary was head, but we know that was a lie. I don't think Obama is flustered at all. He is not attacking her personally all he was doing was using her metaphor to connect with Rurual American. Who you said he has to win to get in the White House.

It is our duty to expose Sarah Palin's lies. I am so discouraged that the media are not really exposing her. I can't believe the American people are actually "buying her." Do they really believe that she is a Maverick? Do they really believe that she can really step in as president of the United States should McCain win and she steps in. It is such a scary thought to me. Am I the only one worried? Are the American people really blind for the last 8 years and want another republican in the White house? McCain and Palin talk about getting rid of lobbyists when McCain's campaign is full of them. America wake up or you'll wake up without your freedom because of the very right wing Republicans. McCain and Palin are no mavericks. They. in fact they are frauds.

How can people on the narrow minded republicans right follow a bigoted, discriminatory message of hate and claim belief in a God who is vindictive and hateful.

I can no longer stomach this “small town” morality. We in the big city are not godless heathens, this is 2008 not the middle ages like the republicans wish us to return.

As a student of history I have learned two major facts; never elect a person who is ultra religious or wears a military uniform.

Sarah Palin is a joke and should be treated as such

I think it is now acknowledged that the press failed to do its job in the months before the beginning of the Iraq War in March 2003. I fear that this mistake is being repeated with the coverage of Palin. The republicans are trying to scare journalists away from asking tough questions about Palin's record and policy positions. Our country will be better off if the press does not cower this time.

I was in Alaska in June with girl friends on Princess cruise. While in Juno we happen to meet a security guard behind the capitol building he offered to unlock the back door so we could tour the inside of the building and he told us Sarah Palin was being interviewed as (R) VP.

I do know about Sarah's Palin belief system and I am terrified to think she could maybe be President. I belonged to the same church and there are some fine people but their theology does not make sense. I even attended their seminary and the arrogance that they know and can tell you what God's will is is scary. If you are having "good times" God is blessing you, if you are having a rough time i.e., losing your job or home, then you must have sinned or are out of God's will and He is punishing you. I left that church 30 years ago and to me if those folks are in power God help us all!! The only change I see in McCain "white house" would be a change in the CHEF's menu. Thanks for your time.

This is a presidential election and the majority of the media coverage and their guests for the past ten days have been about a Vice President Nominee. Is the media not supposed to be helping to inform the public about the President nominee's stand on the issues and where they have stood on the issues during their political career? Give us the information about the Presidential nominees lets not hold discussion regarding lip stick on a pig!

How about we worry about making this the best country in the world instead of just saying it. To do so we will have to take our "World Police" badges off and focus on issues in this country.

Between the time Mcain announced Palin as his VP and her convention speech It took me less than an hour to find out about her bridge flip-flop and the fact she kept the money as well as her work for Sen. Ted Stevens. This was from the website of an Alaskan newspaper not some internet rumour. What I would like someone at your station or any station to explain is why not one word of this came out before her nomination speech it seemed very hinky to me and still does.

I think Americans are moving intellectually , morally and socially backward by supporting the Mccain campaign.More of the same is NOT,NOT forward and progressive.It's very dangerous.These one issue voters will take America back centuries and in the global environment if America wants to be the most powerful than better think twice about whom you vote for.

Anderson, I am a 59yr. young woman who has been an Obama supporter/volunteer from the very beginning of his campaign. I think Gov.Palin is a mockery and a disgrace to our country. Sarah Palin belongs back in the 1800s. with her "out of touch" realities of the modern woman. She also has the "Wildlife" groups up and arms over her abuse of animals esp. polar bears who should not become extinct. I had the priviledge of meeting Senator Joe Biden and he is a very down to earth.."bread and butter" issues guy who is QUALIFIED to be VP. esp. with all of his foreign policy experience in the US.Senate. Heaven help us all if something were to happen to Senator McCain and Gov. Palin were to take over as president of the US.! There is just no comparison between Senator Joe Biden and Gov. If Sarah Palin's record is not open for discussion, what is? The press should research her record and her actions and report on them. The bridge to nowhere lie is just that, a lie. Charging the people of Alaska to stay in her own home for over 300 nights is graft. But more than that, her positions are radical and should be discussed by the press because they are indicators of the most important issue – not whether she is a hockey mom or whether she raises her children properly – but what she would do if she were president of the United States. If she will lie in her acceptance speech, what will stop her from lying to the American people if elected? Those who criticize press scrutiny of Palin's record know that her record are afraid of what that record shows. Bring it to the light of day and let the people decide.

what about the resident of Alaska that was on cnn real late lastnight or early this morning saying they had been trying to get a bill passed for special needs kids in Alaska also a bill for low income kids to go to collage and some other bill,and the first time he heard there will be a bill for special needs kids was when GOV. When are we going to hear about the issues, when are the canditates going to talk about the issues? I want to know about the things that affect me! I'm not voting for a VP I'm voting for a President.

I need to hear the plans to improve our economy, education for my children, and healthcare. I need to know when I will sell my house that's been on the market for over a year now, because people can't get a mortgage! Contrary to popular belief I want to hear about the issues!!! Finally, the press is doing their job–it is about time they question why no one is questioning Gov. Palin, why is she unavailable to the press. There is less than 60 days left to the election and we know very little about a woman who may be leading the free world.

The press needs to stand up to the McCain machine–that keeps whining that we are not being nice to Palin-what are they hiding. The Mc Cain team knows the more they shield her from what every other candidate is subject too–the better off they are.

I just heard Anderson Cooper say that people are emailing complaints about questions regarding Sarah Palin. I sincerely hope Mr. Cooper does not listen to them. The US press allowed the Bush administration to sell the US public on a boondoggle of a war.
Anderson Cooper first became my hero when I saw him standing in front of the downtown stadium in New Orleans wondering out loud why he could get in there when people who were providing aid to the citizens of New Orleans claimed they couldn't.

Sarah Palin (& John McCain) need to be taken to task. Does Sarah Palin's education reform extend beyond replacing evolution with creationism and sex education with abstinence education? Recently, the Bush administration wrote a rule allowing pharmacists to refuse to dispense birth control pills if such action went against the pharmacist's religious beliefs – would Sarah Palin want the rule to stand? Is her stated desire to cut waste in government spending really code for cutting social and education programs. One of John McCain's advisors, Carly Fiorina, set in motion a process that cut 8,000 jobs at Hewlett Packard in Corvallis – the only entity that won was the State of Oregon who received a huge grant to attempt to relocate all the workers whose jobs were sent overseas. Voters need to be aware of the gap between what the McCain ticket says it stands for and what will really happen.
