Why is it that most libs think that every republican plan is thought up by Rove and executed by brainwashed lemming followers?

The democrat talking points are repeated endlessly in the media, How do the conservatives then get their marching orders?

If the libs actually believe the dribble they post, they should be terrified of the conservatives ability to operate collectively and purposefully toward a common goal.

Or could it just be that conservatives use common sense to come up with a plan and the libs have to invent conspiracy theories to justify their hairbrained policies?

We know Sarah Palin won't get the Hillary votes. Sarah stands for the opposite of everything Hillary stands for. Sarah is a conservative, strong figure. There are many Americans who agree with Sarah Palin's views that would never have voted for Hillary. Is she qualified to be VP? If Obama and Hillary are qualified to be President, I don't see how she's not qualified to be VP. Hillary was not the President-what executive experience does she have? Oh, it doesn't matter, because she's not the candidate. Instead, it's a young man, who because of the media, has been absolved of his involvement with questionable characters. Do we really believe he went to church (for 20 years)under Wright and never heard the racist, anti-american talk from him? He doesn't sound sincere when he comes up with answers asked by the media, because it's not what he believes. He is very liberal, and for political gain, has to temper that to a more moderate opinion. I was not very excited about John McCain being selected, but voting for Hillary or Obama was still not an option. I am now excited about the Republican ticket. I believe he couldn't have selected a better running mate for this campaign.
I also have to say, over the past 8 years, George Bush has been blamed not only for his Executive decisions, but also for every bad decision made by Congress. I don't agree with every choice he has made, but I know we don't have a dictatorship, and everything that comes from Washington, doesn't necessarily come from the President. I also realize that the Congress (with a Democratic majority over the past 2 years), have been very partisan with it's decisions. And it's two members from that same Congress, that are on the Democratic ticket. McCain/Palin 2008!!

Why this double standard? Why does the media ask different questions of Sarah Palin just because she is a woman? I couldn't believe my ears when I heard on CNN that she had been asked to take a test to see if the baby is hers? Were the 3 mail candidates asked to take a parental test? Give the women a break!! Are we held to different standards only because we are female? The fathers are parents just as we women are. Why the big deal about her daughter being pregnant? Wasn't Obama born to a single mother?

Its incredible that people are so obsessed with Palin's history when they hardly know anything about it. When were these issues brought up regarding Obama's sleazy politics in Chicago.He shouldn't be the nominee at all. The DNC fixed this election and ignored the true Democrats who voted for Clinton in overwhelmiing numbers.Obama won Caucus states with a few thousand participants that gamed the system. In November, we Democrats get to really vote, 1 person/1vote, they won't be able to game that. So many of us Democrats are so disgusted by the treatment of the Clintons by the DNC, we've decided to give the Republicans another look. Don't blame us that the slash and burn tactics used by Obama and the DNC has backfired on them.

Do the women of this great country appear to be easily manipulated by a scheme such as this one? We see what McCain is trying to do here and the women I know say No Way McCain! We do not want an inexperienced unknown to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. We know this is Karl rove's last gasp and we also know you were forced to go along.

We see just how uncomfortable you are standing next to Sarah Palin, picking at your fingernails. Knowing how pit bulls are, you had better be real careful that she doesn't get rid of you so she can be top dog.

Sorry to say, John, you and Karl's scheme will not work. We, the American women are just too smart for you both!

Republicans controlled the senate for 5 months in 2001, when Bernie Sanders (VT) switched to Independent and caucused with the Democrats. From June 2001 until January 2003, Democrats controlled the Senate. Since January 2007, Democrats have held the Senate. Republicans had the Senate for a little over 4 years of Bush's presidency. When Bush leaves office, the time the Senate was held by both parties will have been evenly split.

This is evidence that Obama is worried. He is so arrogant though, he will not even admit when he is wrong (like the surge). Well, I don't think Hillary should ablige him. She probably wants McCain/Palin to win anyways, so she can run in 4 years.
I strongly believe McCain/Palin is the ticket, it's just too bad all the media only shows the left side.

I am personally offended that the McCain campaign thinks that women who supported HRC will now "fall in line" and support some unknown, brash, slanderous female that is only doomed to step in it as deep as her hip-waders will go!

Obama picking Biden over Hillary for his VP will go down in history as the stupidest campaign strategy blunder ever. Hillary got more votes than Obama during the primaries. They could have had a "dream" ticket. But Hillary wasn't even vetted. Picking Biden over Hillary makes no sense at all. It shows terrible judgment or arrogance from Obama. I don't see why Hillary should go all out for Obama now. She's better off having him lose now so she can run in 2012.

Let's get this straight. Spotlight loving Obama didn't want Hillary as VP because she is smarter and more down to earth than he is. He figured his "superstar status" was enough to propel him straight to the Whitehouse. Now that he realizes Hollywood is for the superstars, and Americans are looking for a real, not manufactured candidate, he wants Hillary? I guess the Republicans were right when they said Biden should get the VP thing in writing.

Frankly,......I'm tried already of the distractions from the real issues that affect the economy not being discussed.......I don't care if she is apart of the Trailer Court mom's for McCain .......where does she stand on unemployment, taxes, health care, and needless to say the war.......she gave an 1/2 hour speech on her resume and her accomplishments for Alaska........the defeat of the good old boys club.......but what is her world vision.......how does she sees the US in such changing economic times as these...........how does she plan to assist McCain in pushing back the oil rich barrens such as.......VP Chaney ( who by the way has been an absentee to any of the Republican events)........and I wonder if she had not had a special needs child would this ever had been an issue for her to speak on..... For crying out loud, Hillary DID NOT WANT TO BE VP! It's all or nothing for her. As for her supporting Obama, DUH! How would she look if she didn't? Besides, McCain's ex-opponents for the nomination are SUPPORTING HIM!!! What's the problem? Can't turn out the gender cards fast enough to play them against Obama but in favor of McCain? Oh I guess my liberal elitist east self isn't supposed to notice that, huh? I guess I missed Hillary's rock star speech at the DNC. Must have been a dream or something....

First of all, moose are no big deal. They've got extremely poor eyesight. You can stand right in front of them and they peer down at you and squint.

If you can't shoot a moose, you're a lousy shot. They're big, they're slow, and they stare and squint a lot. You certainly don't need an AK-47 for the job.

They used to wander into our backyard when I was a kid. You just wave your arms and yell a little. They look at you kind of confused and then they leave.

As for the "hockey mom" thing, Sarah Palin has one boy who has been out of school for awhile. She's got 3 girls, and then a male baby. I'm betting it's been awhile since she's been a "hockey mom". Taping a hockey stick for your kid is no big deal anyway.

I grew up in the sticks too. I really don't think it's a selling point to describe oneself as "Ellie Mae Clampit".

When will Sarah Palin discuss the issues? She is on the campaign trail today repeating almost line for line the same things she said at her acceptance speech.
But when will she submit to a press interview? When will she answer questions on health care, housing foreclosures and foreign policy? We need to see her answer questions without the protective shell of McCain staff members. She needs to submit to press interviews today.
