Madonna, no stranger to controversy, took a sour jab at Sen. John McCain as she kicked off her "Sticky and Sweet" tour Saturday night.

During a concert in Cardiff, Wales, images of the Arizona senator were shown alongside Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe, destruction and global warming on a screen above the singer.

Later, images of Beatles legend John Lennon, fomer vice president Al Gore, Mahatma Ghandi and Sen. Barack Obama were projected onto the screen, according to the Associated Press.

"The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time. It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits," said McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds.

I `m a veteran of 20 yrs. in the U.S.Army. I have not heard anyone questioning Sen.John McCain state of mind because of his captivity in Vietnam. Will Sen.McCain have good judgement after a nightmare caused by (Battlefield Syndrome) from captivity at 0300 a.m. in the morning???

It's one thing to criticize McCain but quite another to compare him to monsters such as Hitler and Mugabe. McCain served our country and endured alot as a POW. While you may disagree with his politics, you should at least recognize his accomplishments. Also, what has Obama done to make him comparable to Ghandi?

Wow Cindy from Ga – your crystal ball never ceases to amaze me. You actually saw Madonna cheating with a married man or are you basing this off of the rumor mill?

    Go Madonna!

Republicans believe themselves above the law and have battered our Constitution, tapped our phones, read our email, defied the Geneva Conventions, tortured and imprisoned without due process, the list goes on and on. The only thing I'll fault Madonna for is forgetting Joseph Stalin and some of the more current McCain supporters - like the KKK and John Hagee.

    Good evening,

McCain is loosing it! He uses female celebrities to put down Obama and then he uses male celebrity to gain female votes...He needs some help in figuring out that we do not need another four years of the same!

This whole political process has gotten ridiculous.....it has been dumbed down to the masses, by the media. Watergate would never be found out today, with the lazy approach of the media. Focus on the real issues of this campaign, and not Madonna, Paris, et.al.

I am a Dem but I think it is any outrage. It's nothing to be proud of.You would think Madonna at her age and being a mother. What kind of lesson does it show her children. If she doesn't like McCain then go after his policy .He is a former POW.He was tortured so badley that he can't raise his arms.Hitler was a monster who erased millions of Jews from existance. One of McCains closest friends is Sen Joe Leiberman who is Jewish.Madonna needs to grow up and act her age.If she wants to talk politics she should stick to subjects she knows about Malawi and music .Comparing McCain to a monster shows her true lack of maturity and class.

Clearly old Mad Donna's scratching to be of interest to a younger crowd with that mind-wash. She's old and she's bold. Hilarious!

Further proof Madonna is ignorant of reality. If anything, Obama fits the mold of Hitler's rise (a no name who wooed the unknowing by promising to save the motherland from its inept government while secretly holding his own agenda). And we all know how horribly that one turned out. Obama and Gandhi-what an insult to Gandhi. As far as that goes, what an insult to John Lennon. Maybe Madonna should stick to wearing fishnets and acting like the dimwit she is.

LOL well if McCain feels he could bring Britney and Paris into his ads, then why can't Madonna put him into her act?

Is McCain so old that he forgot that a few weeks ago he decided to invite Paris, Britney and the like into this campaign. I can't get over the McCain campaign smearing Obama at every opportunity – but somehow he deserves extra respect because he's an old war hero. It's like everyone is expected to treat him like that old bitter grandparent in your family. Didn't your mom ever tell you, "we know grandpa can be rude and a make outlandish statements, but just don't say anything because he's old and we have to respect him." McCain just because you're old – doesn't mean you're entitled to preferencial treatment! Go back to one of your 7 houses where your family has to put up with your old man rants.

Madonna is ridiculous and will do anything to get people to notice her and her wanning career

She shouldn't be criticizing people when she is or was having an affair with a married man when she herself is married! Wasn't she taught those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!? She may end up with egg in her face!
