The head of this animal has yet to be cut off and we still have yet to witness the thrashing about of it's body. I read some of the comments here, that this whole thing is about Israel, and they are completely wrong. Al-Qaeda has set as it's goal to institute Islamic law across the middle east and the world. The US is a Christian nation, but knows better than to institute a Christian law. How many of the ten commandments are actual laws? I find all fundamentalists of all religions to be insane. As Nietzsche would say the enemy is "thou shalt" while the future is "I will." Islam is still to full of "thou shalt" and we will not come to a cowardly compromise with these despisers of life. The old politics got us here, not just US political policies either. We , with some dumb luck, just may have another chance to get it right. War begets war. Haven't we all seen enough torn bodies, children crying, soldiers on stretchers , lives ruined? Let's take a chance for something new, give the new kid a try. All you'r going to get with the old guy is another war, and another war, and another................. They only have cells here and there and aren't working as one group anymore. They aren't as nearly as together and with it as they were. Bin Laden's visions of grandeur were far off.
