Here’s a look at some of the stories on our radar for tomorrow:
RAW POLITICS: While Sen. Obama vacations in Hawaii and Sen. McCain spends the day in Michigan, Gary Tuchman is on the trail with Meghan McCain. She’s the 23 year old daughter of John and Cindy McCain and has her own blog in which she talks about life on the trail…and clothes, shoes, gossip, and other things that don’t always seem so presidential. But could that be what John McCain needs to get a few more younger people’s votes?
WELFARE FRAUD CASE: There’s a hearing scheduled in the case against Judith Leekin who was recently convicted of defrauding New York State out of more than $1 million through fraudulent adoptions. She will now face charges in Florida of abusing the 11 children she adopted.
JACQUES HEARING: Michael Jacques is due in court. He is charged with kidnapping his 12-year-old niece, Brooke Bennett, who’s body was discovered a week after she disappeared. It has been reported that Jacques was planning to initiate Brooke into a sex ring the day she disappeared.
PARAPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION CONVENTION: The Parapsychological Association is an “international professional organization of scientists and scholars engaged in the study of psychic experiences, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, remote viewing, psychokinesis, psychic healing, and precognition.” Their convention begins in Winchester, England and continues until Aug. 17.

August 12th, 2008 10:42 pm ET Where is John McCain hiding his non-white daughter? |

August 12th, 2008 11:10 pm ET Maurice……….. McCain is hiding is non-white daughter only to keep her from the eyes of the racist blue collar workers who he needs so much………. as they continue to hate Obama. If he loses them, he sure is lost. Also to keep her from the eyes of the old-timers who would not like seeing her also. This isn’t to shield her from the media………it is to hide her as you say. Again, shameful Mr. McCain…………….. |

August 13th, 2008 12:02 am ET Why don’t the McCain’s ever feature his children from Carol McCain? We’re always subjected to the children he has had with his newest wife, Cindy? |

August 13th, 2008 12:05 am ET I certainly believe that Gary Tuchman can find a far more interesting subject to critique than Meghan McCain. Meghan appears to be yet another spoiled, rich kid, who spends her time jetsetting around on corporate jets, collecting an allowance from mommy and daddy and waxing poetic about pressing global concerns like clothes, shoes and gossip. After the Bush twins, Meghan should be the last person a campaign should rely on for young votes. |

August 13th, 2008 1:23 am ET What a sad Country we have become; we have become so caught up in destroying one’s character, just to win, until we no longer care if we speak words of truth or words of deceit. |

August 13th, 2008 1:30 am ET With McCain as our leader and using his great judgment, we would be in a nuclear war with Russia right now instead of using diplomacy to bring about a cease fire- please McCain shut-up and ask Obama for advice before opening your big mouth! |

August 13th, 2008 2:30 am ET Whatever happened to pride in American products? Let’s bring the jobs back to the USA and while were at it the unions too. |

August 13th, 2008 7:04 am ET Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the parapsychological association convention would study a method to get all folks who pray for world peace, untiy and light together and channel this energy to bring about change on a world scale? Yes, I know, I am a dreamer but I’m not the only one…. |

August 13th, 2008 10:03 am ET I like her blog. She also has interesting behind the scenes photos of the campaign. VOting for John McCain is voting for someone who knows world history. Which he showed from his speech, while Obama read a speech like it was a shopping list prepared by someone else.It was obvious he doesn’t know his world history. |

August 13th, 2008 10:08 am ET A vote for Obama is a vote for America getting back on the right track. John McCain will only continue to keep corporations running this country and driving the middle class into ruins. He a man with no integrity. Look at his ads. He resorts to the same old republican tactics rather than focusing on the issues. He’s a liar and a hypocrit. He said that he would not run a negative campaign and he has failed in that promise. Americans would be fools to elect a man like John McCain. America will be doomed under a McCain presidency. We must take this country back and get it out of the hands of these greedy corporate profit mongers. George Bush needs to be prosecuted for all the lies he has told to the American people. Talk about patriotism, our own president sold us out. Our children and grand children will have nothing left when they grow up! |
