It seems like the wildfire season started sooner this year I hope the firefighters can contain this one before it destroys homes.
I realize the lightning strikes started this one but I wondered if there was a drought where it started – seems like we are getting more wildfires because of lightning in places that haven't had adequate rainfall.

Ah yes the continuing story of Kwame Kilpatrick v Detroit City Council. Its a nice change of pace from Obama v McCain, but a lot more confusing. Lawsuits are being filed every day to stop this or forge ahead with that and meanwhile things really aren't getting done in the city. However, if honesty had been originally in the forefront none of this would have happened. I like a good legal fight as much as the next trial junkie, but this one gives me a headache.

Could your program address that Scarlat's twin works on Obama's campaign. The piece on CaMpbell's show was pretty poor.

I have had so much respect for the Clintons it sure hurts & angers me when I hear Hillary speak on behalf of Obama. I hope Bill sits this one out & maintains some self respect.

I have followed the coverage from day 1 because unfortunately the outcome of this election will affect Canada in so many ways. On 911 many Canadians lost their lives in the not because WHO they were but WERE they were. I am trying to so hard to believe & trust Obama but I can't. Maybe it is because Obama reminds me so much of our own George Bush pal PM Stevie Harper.

Why wasn't the Zimbabwe story covered at all, as promised in the Evening Buzz? This is an important story and has been in the news for several days now, yet you wouldn't give it even a minute of airtime. Am I the only one who's outraged about this?

I would think that given the Clinton's after tax income that Hilary should just pay off her debt, move ahead and be thankful that she is able too.

As for the wildfires out here in California it smells like Vermont in the Fall, but it is only June out here!

Anderson, you really should comment on what a cooling tower is, an that 99.9% of americans probably don't understand. on top of that one might think that someone in the world has come up with other methods of cooling off what over needs cooling off and perhaps taking down this cooling tower is just another distraction for the D- guys over at the CIA.

North Korea's actions at the Yongbyon facility may (or may not) be just for show. Yongbyon may not be the only place North Korea has that can process nuclear material to make WMDs. They do have the choice to show the world one thing, but do something else in secret altogether. The Yongbyon facility is just too obvious, too easy to verify. I'm not suggesting they are doing that, but as far as I've seen they haven't confirmed that if they close Yongbyon, they can't produce WMDs. Maybe we should look if they confirm (or at least even suggest) that when they release their declaration to China.

Here in California, we are reeling from one disaster after another; the fires have started early this year which does not bode well for the dry season this fall; the fires coupled with the mortgage meltdown, the entertainment strike, the stock market crash and horrendous leadership has California on the brink; Arnold is nowhere to be seen and LA mayor Villaraigosa is flying around the country trying to advance his poltical career with the Democratic party; thanks to the tireless firefighters, sheriffs and volunteers, the state is not a total loss.

Maybe President Clinton knows something we don't know. He knows Senator Clinton wasn't given a fair shake by the media by some. And not counting votes in Florida and Michigan may come back and bite them. Senator Clinton never backed down from anyone in the media as Obama did and now he does not want to hold any town hall discussions with McCain. He can play his cards safe but in the long run it will have affect when the election is held. His only hope is to put Hillary on his ticket because she was the strongest canidate at the end. We are tired of promises, we need action and fast. Hillary understands this as does Former President Clinton. Winning a caucus is not like winning a Primary and these polls are just like a caucus. President Clinton is a master politician who followed up on a lot of promises and made our economy stronger. I think he is concerned and worried about this country. Yes he made a mistake but God forgives us all.

Keep up all of the good stories you do around the world because this planet is in trouble!

It is amazing that your administration can suddenly flip/ flop over North Korea!! There must be a trade deal involved!! I guess Walmart wants a lower paid slave workforce to make their crap!! It's been extremely hazy and almost overcast here, for two days–an unusual occurence in the California desert where we enjoy (on average) over 360 days of sunshine a year, most with clear blue skies and clear, starlit nights. Local news reported the haze was from the northern California wildfires, so I can only imagine how intense the smoke is throughout other parts of the state. What a hellish job it is to fight a fire–a sincere "thank you" to the firefighters for putting their lives on the line for all of us (once again).
