Trying to guess who the next VP on the blue-side is going to be? Seems to me about a 70% chance it will be Kathleen Sebelius from Kansas. Her name has been popping up alot in the last couple of weeks. I totally think she would be a good choice. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out. Right now, I'd say Hillary has a 5% chance of securing the VP position.

Well that is so good that the breaking news stories can now be all about how real and great of a person obama is. I mean, isn't that why you wanted Hillary out of the race so long ago–so that you would have at least a half decent excuse for drooling all over him every day?! Basket ball?! Are you freakin kidding me?! Is it because he does not stand for ANYTHING or because he does not actually vote on anything or because he has not authored a single bill of substance or because he is so good at getting people kicked off of the ballot so that he can win or is it because he knows how to put his incoming funds into different columns so that he can say he does not take money from lobbyists or oil companies? Which is it? Or is it because he is black and the second you say anything bad about him he and everyone else plays the race card? Cause if this election taught me anything, it is that it is still okay to be sexist but not okay to be racist.

Obama acts primarily out of Hunting Instinct. He talks in terms of facts, figures, data, research, and proof. We have become so used to leaders acting out of Warrior Instinct for the last 8 years, that we don't realize what a leader can be if they act out of a different instinct. He flies under the radar of people acting out of Warrior Instinct. This will be very interesting to watch our transition as a species, as we move from leaders who are Warriors, to leaders who are Hunters.

I guess you don't care about Hillary lying about sniper fire in Bosnia. Or the records that show that she didn't do much during the Bill Clinton years. Or the fact that Hillary said the race would be clinched by Super Tuesday in February, thus disrespecting her opponents.

You don't need experience to know that US needs Universal Healthcare or that the War in Iraq isn't making us safer.

How do you know why "the majority of African Americans" voted for Obama, as you say? FWIW, I live in TN and I am a 36 yr old white female supporter of Obama. My neighbor and friend is a 54 yr old black man who voted for Clinton in the primary, and now has no intention of voting for McCain. In fact I personally know no one here who has any intention of voting for McCain, although I am sure there are plenty. And I do not socialize with only one social class. I know poor, working class, middle class, academics, old money and new; religious zealots to atheists. Everyone agrees it's time to clean house.

Lies can be told in all sorts of ways, including the use of statistics, generalizations, and lies to oneself. Obama may be a politician; but if he turns out to be insincere, at least he's intelligent enough to know he appears in a better light by showing some character by being gracious and refusing to be sidetracked by red herrings and mudslinging from the very hard issues we are facing.

We really enjoy your reporting and commentay. Hillary should not seek or accep the VP. Supreme Court Justice would be a much better fit wih her talents and long term impact. How do these kinds of postions (cabinet etc) get promised? How often are positions promised, how often are they delivered, how often are they not realized?

Here’s a quick assessment of you brain on politics...Left liberals= Narrow Minded, unrealistic thought process, half sized partially damaged brain, too much grey matter , gross absence of neurotransmitters , irrational decision making , due to all of the above. In short , Left liberals elect politicians that have 0 experience, dubious and dangerous associations, radical racist clergy giving them advice, arrogance way off the chart, elitist that looks down (in secret) on all of the brain washed voters that voted for him. No question that Obama will be best served by not having Hillary looking over his shoulder as VP (much less Bill lurking in the backgroud. Maybe Sec of State or a spot on the Supreme Court.
Obama should be thinking about retaining Sec of Defense Gates. His decisiveness and insistance on having accountability in the Dept is the best we have seen from any recent Secretary.

Please please no Hillary for VP–that would be commiting political suicide and would run it for the democrats. She would be painted as black mailing him into taking her on the ticket and therefore would make him look weak!! All things would come out-the Clintons afterall do carry alot of baggage!

Also he would lose my vote which at this time he has. I am a 57 year old caucasion single woman.

I think Americans are missing the point here. Hillary Clinton and primetime cable news made it clear that a large percentage of her supporters the working class uneducated whites would never vote for a black man. Well Barrack Obama will always be a black man. It’s going to take more than Hillary R Clinton and a dream team ticket to change their minds about voting for a black man.

It has been months since John Mccain was declared the preemptive nominee of the Republican Party. He has not discussed nor nor has he named a running mate. Barack Obama became the preemptive nominee of his party YESTERDAY! Why the rush/pressure on him to name a running mate. None of you media folks/stratgists are asking who will be McCain's running mate or who is angling or putting pressure on Mccain for the position.

P.S. You got what you wanted. Hillary is not the nominee. You have demonized her enough. Let her be. Find another way to get ratings.

Candy the interview was odd and in the 45 second spot of how to get a 45 year old woman to vote for him he totally dropped the ball. Those woman who have sons in Iraq, he repeated that phrase "son" more than once it was like finally one of his dingbat supporters finally realized this ran over with a flashcard that read "SAY DAUGHTER" . It sounded insincere and as an after thought. It shows that he was not even thinking of woman as he made that statement. Please Candy ask some hardball questions of this man. Be a strong woman ask question. What kind of change, can you explain that in detail point by point. How will you do this? Where will you get the money? Press Obama on the issues. Make him explain himself and ask him not to use the word CHANGE in any of his answers.
