Thats all nice, but no mother, no matter how young, should have their babies taken from them, even if they were raped! Babies and children belong with thier mothers, if thier mothers want them!!!! Who cares about the pedifile fathers? Give these woman and children a chance for a new life.

Why hasn't anyone commented on the fact that all welfare and government agency programs require a social security number? How can these people get government aid if they are not reporting social security numbers? Also on tax forms to deduct children they have to report children's social security numbers.

I am not in pro or con of the issue, but I pose these questions also,
why hasn't CNN reported on the CPS's care of children in Texas?
Will these 460 some children really get the best care, and how good is that care, as the stastics are terrible. Texas has one of the largest numbers of teenages pregnancies. Also Texas CPS has one of the nation's highest death rates as a state. How many of these children are going to be abused in foster care or die?

Next is this a war between the local groups who proclame all Morman groups to be of the devil? Is it that they don't want the FLDS people at all in their area? Is there more behind the story than meets the eye?

And lastly, are these cult "experts" building the case against the FLDS to " study them more in depth so they can write "cult books" and make them into study cases and sell their books and make big bucks?

Not that it matters but, we have been turning off 360 more and more b/c we are so tired of hearing about this story. We watched Olberman last night (on another channel -opposite 360 -where we live)... he's a little over-the-top, but at least he didn't waste time with speculation on this case and the latest, up-to-the-minute report to inform us that nothing has happened since the last up-to-the-minute report. I'm sure you don't care.....but, I think this polygamy story is getting coverage only b/c it is about !!!! S-E-X !!!! It is not breaking news or anything that affects the average person's daily life.
People are talking about the election, gas prices, food prices, the food shortages around the world, the stock market, the Middle East.....not this. As I said, we didn't watch last night so I don't know - maybe it wasn't even mentioned -but there are a lot more pressing things that people would like to learn about.

No more emergency filings - that's probably a really good thing; makes everyone plan better and cuts down on the tussle back and forth between the parents and the CPS. It will be interesting to see what CPS comes up with to track the children with. I hope CPS is technologically equipped there to come up with something flexible enough to fill the need yet easy to use and access.
