Tonight, Hillary or Obama? Obama or Hillary? They've been campaigning day and night these last six weeks and tomorrow Pennsylvania voters will answer the question that has sent the Democratic candidates to countless rallies, college campuses, diners, bars and bowling allies. Obama or Hillary? Hillary or Obama?

We'll have live reports from our reporters in the field who are covering the candidates' last minute pushes to win over any remaining undecided voters as well as a terrific political panel and all the latest polling numbers.

Voters have their say tomorrow but we want to hear from you tonight. We’ll start posting comments to this blog at 10p ET and stop at 11p ET.

And be sure to check out our live web camera from the 360° studio. The shot features a behind the scenes look at the set.  We’ll turn the camera on at 945p ET and turn it off at 11p ET. LINK TO THE BLOG CAMERA

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:00 pm ET

Hi Anderson, Erica, and Bloggers!
Happy Monday!
I am hoping Hillary Clinton will win tomorrow night.

Lori, Boston   April 21st, 2008 10:00 pm ET

Hi Anderson & Erica,

Sounds like tomorrow is going to be an exciting day. Looking forward towards the results. Have a great show!

Whitney B in Ontario, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:00 pm ET

Good evening, Anderson! Looking forward to tomorrow, even though I'm Canadian, it's so interesting to follow this US Presidential race.

Lorie Ann, Buellton, California   April 21st, 2008 10:01 pm ET

Tomorrow's big day of voting will not really be known until the polls close. All the analysis and wishful thinking will mean zip. The voters will be the only ones that produce the results in Penn.

AJ, Minneapolis   April 21st, 2008 10:01 pm ET

Good Evening Anderson, Erica, & Bloggers

EJ - Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:01 pm ET

Hi Anderson, Erica and John King.

Sue Polinick/Pennsylvania   April 21st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

Good evening Anderson and Erica

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

If the 7% of the undecided went for Obama and it ended up 50/50 what would be the delegate split. John King can the magic wall answer my question?!?!?!

Tracey - Boston   April 21st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

Good Evening!!!

Pat   April 21st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

Has either Clinton or Obama camps came out to suggest the two should team up on the ticket?

Sue Polinick/Pennsylvania   April 21st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

Did anyone catch Hillary's interview on Larry King Live??

kathy in ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

Hillary will win PA

Kevin Leo from Jonesboro, GA   April 21st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

"If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Given Hillary's campaign finances, can she afford to be in the kitchen?!

Angel   April 21st, 2008 10:03 pm ET

GO HILLARY!!!!!!!!!
Anderson, love the tie!

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:03 pm ET

I can't wait see primary vote tomorrow night! :)
YES! I love new poll!

Kim   April 21st, 2008 10:03 pm ET

Hi everyone, I am so excited about tomorrow!
It'll be a great day and I am going to be seriously sleep-deprived on Wednesday :-) Democracy at work... and for its sake, just seeing the enthusiasm and the participation is worth it already, regardless of the outcome...

Jo Ann, Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:03 pm ET

Anderson, I hope your panel discussion at Radio City went well tonight. I look forward to the program and blog discussion this evening.

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Kevin you are so right......if you can't pay your bills why would people want you in charge of the nations finances?

Pat   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Shouldn't the Democrats step in and negotiate a close to the race – and start focusing their attention on winning the White House?

Angel   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Candy's looking vavavoom tonight! You go girl!

Sophie   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

I can't wait for Hillary to win big tomorrow!!!!!

Elle   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

There is magic in the air.Hillary has captured that spirit and will soar to
win PA tomorrow.
Hillary 2008 !

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Looking forward to the show. Hi bloggers!

Ugh. The "white, older, female" comment used to describe Hillary voter's is so tacky.

Jen in Mex.   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Hey Anderson, Erica, Candy, , truly the best team on the web,(oh, and on tv, radio too). Saludos desde Mexico, Bloggers and Bloguettes ;) .

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Anderson,
Cool tie! I love your tie!

Kevin Leo from Jonesboro, GA   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

If I recall John King's magic graphs, Hillary could win the state but Barack could be tied or possibly come out ahead of Hillary in terms of delegates based on where he is strong in the state.

Christina, Windber, PA   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Hey Anderson

Hillary campaigned in Johnstown yesterday. This is the second time the campaign has come here, Pres. Bill Clinton was here a couple of weeks ago. It should earn her some points as it's unusual for people to come to small towns like this.

Lots of media but no CNN; aw shucks!

mona   April 21st, 2008 10:04 pm ET

Hi everyone, it is monday....

EJ - Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:05 pm ET

Obama – Cooper '08!

Jana, Indiana   April 21st, 2008 10:05 pm ET

Hello Anderson and all. Hope you and all the bloggers had a good weekend.

Looking forward to the show tonight.

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:06 pm ET

EJ – that is my dream ticket but how bout Cooper – Obama 08

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:07 pm ET

Hillary '08!

Just because I never see Hillary supporters do that on here, I thought I should :P

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:07 pm ET

EJ,
are you nuts? why not for vote Cooper?

Cynthia   April 21st, 2008 10:07 pm ET

Hilliary may win tomorrow but the math just doesn't add up and won't when its all said and done.

Jen in Mex.   April 21st, 2008 10:07 pm ET

Ehh, shouldn't it be Cooper – Hill 08?

Sharon   April 21st, 2008 10:07 pm ET

Definitely Obama for America and the world!!!

EJ - Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:07 pm ET

That tie is is sort of matching Anderson's hair. That's pretty cool.

Sahira   April 21st, 2008 10:07 pm ET

Awesome tie Anderson!!!

Pat   April 21st, 2008 10:08 pm ET

Brian, I agree – the white older female comment will really get the vote out

Angel   April 21st, 2008 10:08 pm ET

I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to have one of those screens John's playing with...cool stuff.

tun   April 21st, 2008 10:08 pm ET

I think Clinton will win tomorrow considering this state has been labeled as Clinton's all along. But if she won with less than double digits, it is the time she should quit. I believe that politic is more like poker than a horse race. when the odds are not on your side, you must be rational about when to make a good fold for the bigger reason.

Daniel in Loganville, GA   April 21st, 2008 10:08 pm ET

Gov Rendell already told you what the problem is that has not change in the past few weeks. I think the Sen has been able to gain some support but the MSM will not let the truth be heard, you guys are hell bent on filling the air ways with the side issues that may or may not have a ring of truth to it.

mona   April 21st, 2008 10:08 pm ET

Erica, what is the name of the equipment John King is using?

Kim   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

Anderson, John, I read somewhere that Obama has a real chance of coming out of the primaries with less than 100 depegates short of the 2.025. It was the first time I heard that might be possible. Can you tell me if that's realistic with expected margins?

Tracey - Boston   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

I love this electronic map!

San Diego - JoAnn   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

Former Bill Clinton says it best:
President Clinton stated "One of Clinton's laws of politics is this: If one candidate is trying to scare you and the other one is trying to get you to think, if one candidate is appealing to your fears and the other one is appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person that wants you to think and hope...that's the best." I have nothing else to add to his comments.

Check out this video itself: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZW0m2nWB_M).

Alma Sheykhani Fairfield, Ca   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

I am so happy John King is back. I miss him, and I miss his maps lol.
Anderson, your Outside Magazine article was amazing. You really do make a difference in the world. Thank you for all that you do. I adore you.

Go Obama.

Pat   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

I know I would never get in the ring with Hillary – I bet she would fight dirty!!

Carmen, Marina, CA   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

I am so looking forward to tracking the PA primary results by watching CNN and following online as well. It is fabulous to see those numbers come in virtually "live" on CNN.com. Go Hillary!

Jen in Mex.   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

John ROCKS at the smart board!

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

John King has practiced using that touch screen, I know it. He just did a double line with one hand...

Sue Polinick/Pennsylvania   April 21st, 2008 10:10 pm ET

in my small low income town..we are all Obama

Kathleen, NC   April 21st, 2008 10:10 pm ET

I agree Angel. I really like that screen as well.

Eva R.   April 21st, 2008 10:10 pm ET

My dream ticket is Cooper-Hill 08' or Hill- Cooper 08'

Either way works for me! I think they are the DREAM TEAM...lolz

xtina, chicago IL   April 21st, 2008 10:10 pm ET

hillary needs 60 percent of remaining delegates to win nomination. Is that possible? Is it realistic?

Jacqueline   April 21st, 2008 10:10 pm ET

Good evenin' all!

Kim   April 21st, 2008 10:11 pm ET

Mona, I think it's actually called the "magic wall".

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:11 pm ET

I can see the magic wall being hours of fun :)

Carolyn   April 21st, 2008 10:11 pm ET

Each democrat promises to unite at the end of all the primaries, and work hard for whoever is the candidate? But will their surogates.?

kathy in ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:11 pm ET

Carmen, Marina, CA

Me TOOOOOOOOOOO Hillary did great on larry king i cant wait till tomorrow

Sue Polinick/Pennsylvania   April 21st, 2008 10:11 pm ET

I am a white older female..and my vote is for OBAMA

Deann   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

Hello everyone!!!

Love the tie Anderson!!

Tiff- Allentown, pa   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

Hey Anderson,
I am in PA. There are a number republicans who have switched parties just for this primary so they can pick whomever they believe McCain can beat. I think that should be mentioned when speaking of party switchers.

skm   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

Anderson, The lady reporter Candy C on your show there made a comment about white, old lady that was quite uncalled for. May be she was not talking about the candidate? Most of us are not exactly white nor old but we are certainly Hillary constituency. So, she may need to adjust her "typical white" "typical old" statements patterned after Obama. I did notice her tone perks up when she talks of Obama. Amazing how much these things tend to transmit through the tube.

xtina, chicago IL   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

altho if anyone tells you they KNOW what's going to happen in PA just take it with a grain of salt

Jo Ann, Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

I still think Hillary might win PA by fifteen points. I have talked with some people from PA and it feels like another New Hampshire to me. I guess we will find out tomorrow.

Eva R.   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

Jen I was just thinkin the same thing...
My dream ticket is Cooper-Hill 08′ or Hill- Cooper 08′

Either way works for me! I think they are the DREAM TEAM…lolz

Kevin Leo from Jonesboro, GA   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

I truly look forward to the day where we can discuss voters as just Americans and not Black or white, male or female, etc. Our individual stories encompass the American experience and all lend to the greatness of our country. When we begin to see that, this is when our nation will recapture its lost glory and ascend to even greater heights!!!

Jolene   April 21st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

Hello Bloggers! Oh yes, the PA primary is finally here!!! The webcam is doing a great job at letting us see the set tonight. Thanks.

Who will win? I'm not even going to guess!

Jen in Mex.   April 21st, 2008 10:13 pm ET

Mona, there are various brand names. But this is being used alot in school systems now. Well, maybe not with so many bell and whistles.

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:13 pm ET

I watched Dancing with the Stars while Hillary was on with LK......I am tired of hearing her. Just my opinion

Deann   April 21st, 2008 10:13 pm ET

I think both candidates would make a great President – a great deal better than who the other side is backing

Lesli   April 21st, 2008 10:13 pm ET

Hey, after tomorrow, can we give politics a bit of a break for the rest of the week?

Eritrean   April 21st, 2008 10:13 pm ET

Anderson,

I am watching your coverage live now. I am black from Eritrea (A nation with dictator government) but Obama's foreigh policy does not appeal to me.

He said that he is willing to talk with dictators (Hamas, Iran and venezual). That is a bad example for a country that stand for freedom.

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

Thanks Bloggers vote Hillary Clinton!

Larry   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

Good evening Anderson:)

Would Barack be showing his supporters how confident he is in winning the Presidency by giving up his senate seat; after all you can't be a President and a Senator at the same time.

Sophie   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

My vote is for Hillary!! The rest of my familly is also voting for Hillary in PA. .....................................

stacy,scranton   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

Good Evening ,
Anderson and Erica Tommorrow is a big day for us in Penn. It's when Hillary will knock the socks off of Obama
Looking forward for a good show.

EJ - Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

Maybe 360 should raffle off Anderson's tie for charity. That silver/blue one is my favorite one so far.

diane   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

I've been for Hillary since the beginning but about 2 months ago I was just oversaturated with poll results, CNN commentators, 'what if' stories, scandals, mud slingers, etc.
I'm still a Clinton supporter but I no longer listen to political reports on any network – wonder how many more viewers agree? I long for NEW news.

RC Lendz Philadelphia, PA   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

So, for the Obamites out there, how is your candidate for change doing? Same ole, same ole politics. He hasn't changed a thing. He has been running negative ads or saying negatives things in debates since last fall. Are you seeing this yet? He is the candidate for "I change my mind" not changing America.

Lisa - Ft. Lauderdale   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

Howard Dean deserves heartburn! If he had made a rational decision about Michigan and Florida – like the repubs did – they lost half their delegates for voting early, but the candidates were allowed to campaign there – if that had happened – that wouldn't still be a very big unresolved issue now....

Maureen T   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

I suspect there are more white older females voting for Obama than is reported by the media. It's not just the black vote that's leading Obama to the White House! Go Obama!

Kathy, Chicago   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

Tomorrow is Earth Day. Which candidate is greener?

Penny   April 21st, 2008 10:14 pm ET

I watched the Larry King interview with Clinton. She was articulate and did well. I was really impressed with her saying that if Obama gets the nomination, she will do everything in her power to support him in the general election. It shows that she has the country's back and that is important. I would like to have seen Obama, but he had a scheduling conflict and declined the interview.

Lesli   April 21st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

I'm going to take an AC360 poll on the comments on the blog and try to keep track of the Clinton and Obama comments. I'll see if I can keep up and post through out the evening.

Niles - Louisiana   April 21st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

Clinton will win, but not by nearly what it will take to stop the Obama Express. Get ready for one of the dirtiest campaigns in U.S. History down the stretch.

Lorie Ann, Buellton, California   April 21st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

I don't think Hillary will be out of the race tomorrow. Split in half, that's what I think will happen.

Carolyn   April 21st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

How will the Republicans attack if the ticket if it is Clinton and Obama?

Kayle   April 21st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

Call me a dork but I'm so excited about the restarting of primary season. John King and the delegate board are back, I'm pumped. Lol

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

Sue Polinick/Pennsylvania> I'm 19 (male obviously) and a Hillary supporter. I hate when polls categorize each voter group based on education, race, age, etc. It serves no purpose.

Maureen T   April 21st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

Nice plug Anderson. So do you support Hilary Clinton as well?

Jerry S   April 21st, 2008 10:16 pm ET

Obama's campaign is change but he only offers lose change not
the solid dollars and sense that we see from Clinton. You can't just rally around a word when what you're offering is nickles and dimes solutions.
Experience counts more for the future of this country then the
hype that you represent change.

EJ - Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:16 pm ET

Kevin,

"I truly look forward to the day where we can discuss voters as just Americans and not Black or white, male or female, etc. "

That will never be, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

It's always interesting to see how different demographics vote.

Carmen, Marina, CA   April 21st, 2008 10:16 pm ET

Those who want Hillary out of the race because they say she can't win or they just want the whole primary process done with may want to consider that this time we are in is history in the making: not just because it is the first time a woman and an African American are running. Consider that the race is so close and Michigan and Florida are up in the air. This is the first time in modern politics that there are so many confluence of events. Wow! What a time to be in America! Exciting, frustrating, exhausting and so worth the effort!

RC Lendz Philadelphia, PA   April 21st, 2008 10:16 pm ET

Every teacher I know in Philadelphia, including me, and my family is voting for Hillary.

Tracey - Boston   April 21st, 2008 10:16 pm ET

EJ just don't touch the gold tie... That one must stay.

Lilibeth   April 21st, 2008 10:16 pm ET

I think Hillary will win in PA, by how much I don't know. I'm hoping she wins by a big margin...

Erica Hill
CNN
  April 21st, 2008 10:17 pm ET

Hi, everyone. Game day tomorrow - glad to see you're all looking fwd to it!

I'm sitting next to John King as I type this - he says "hi" to everyone on the blog.

Mona, John tells me the offiical name is the CNN "multi-touch" board, but he thinks we can do better. So, we're asking for your thoughts - can you come up with something a little catchier?

Gary in Kent, Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:17 pm ET

Jo Ann...I agree with you I'm looking for a 15 point win by Hillary in PA.

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:17 pm ET

EJ,
You're right! ;) That is my favorite color too.

Kevin Leo from Jonesboro, GA   April 21st, 2008 10:18 pm ET

Larry – Why should Barack give up his seat while Hillary and McCain keep their seats! He doesn't have a 100 million in income like the Clintons and McCains!

Gary in Kent, Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:18 pm ET

Erica....it's a smart board...right?

David Westrich   April 21st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

Cooper, Hillary will win tomorrow by double digits. Hillary has shown Obama's electabilty weakness from his debate last week. And she will go all the way to the convention.

Maureen T   April 21st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

When it comes to experience, in the past few years the President has not had a lot of experience. So that doesn't work for me.

Eva R.   April 21st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

Anderson is always sooo well dressed...in his nice crisp suits...he dresses better than celebrities! Well he really is a celebrity since he has like sooo many stalkers!

Lindsey   April 21st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

I don't get what the deal with age, race, or gender has to do with the elections. Why can't people just vote on what they NEED in the white house and not what they want to see (what do we need.......the race is so close).

mike butler   April 21st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

when did nasty politics become a plus in the leadership game.

Carmen, Marina, CA   April 21st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

John King rules on the Smart Board. So cool. I want one.

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

@ Erica,
say hello to John King for me!!!!

Rand   April 21st, 2008 10:20 pm ET

No matter the outcome, we have to admit that this is by far the most historical election we have seen. People who have had no interest in politics have gotten up and taken notice and even registered to vote for the first time in their lifes. I predict that politics will not be the same ole as usual from now on.

Lilibeth   April 21st, 2008 10:20 pm ET

Hi Erica, please say hi to John K. for us too! Tell him please we always love his maps!

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:20 pm ET

Maureen T> I don't think Anderson is gonna reveal who he's backing anytime soon, I think that'd turn it into AC180, whether he wants to or not.

Kim   April 21st, 2008 10:20 pm ET

How about the "plotical dreams vs. political realities board"? :-) although I agree that's a mouthful...

Michael, NC   April 21st, 2008 10:20 pm ET

Whats up everyone. Hope your weather was better than the rain I had all day! :-( Looking forward to hearing your thoughts tonight.

Carly,AL   April 21st, 2008 10:21 pm ET

hey erica........ we had a board like that in high school we called our the "smart board"

Larry   April 21st, 2008 10:21 pm ET

Why is it that if we ask questions about Barack's resume that we must therefore be Hillary supporters and not just wanting to be informed voters?

Anderson Cooper
CNN

good evening.. just logging in now... been running around on the set too much to type...

Alexa   April 21st, 2008 10:21 pm ET

I am a college-educated, white collar professional living in Pittsburgh. I bought a home in the city and enjoy all of the amenities of urban living–museums, the theater, major sporting events–yet when I tune into 360 I hear a Pittsburgh described that I don't recognize. While we do have a proud blue collar past, most of the people that I know are working for technology firms, financial institutions, law firms, or universities. Pittsburgh will never get its due respect if it continues to be stereotyped in the media just because it makes the best story.

TL   April 21st, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Would Hillary give up her Senate Seat to show her supporters how confident she is. That would be a sign of extreme confidence as well.

Jacqueline   April 21st, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Hello, John "Smart-Board King!

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:22 pm ET

welcome to the blog Anderson. Busy set tonight

Sophie   April 21st, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Hello Anderson! Hillary 08!

Jana, Indiana   April 21st, 2008 10:23 pm ET

Anderson, why should Hillary have to get out of the race if she doesn't win big time tomorrow? We here in Indiana hasn't even voted yet.

Kathy K   April 21st, 2008 10:23 pm ET

I've talked with several women my age......um somewhat over 50....and younger and, though, we all started out Hillary girls......we're all pretty turned off by her negatives......she and Bill are the old Washington stuff we've all lived through......we definitely, desperately need someone who will stay out of the mud, unless provoked. Problem is...the way Clinton's play dirty if you don't respond somewhat in kind you're a wimp.....if you do you're "wining." Give us a break. Is it about the Clinton's winning and legacy or is it about the country?

Saera El Paso, TX   April 21st, 2008 10:23 pm ET

please say hello to John King for me too!!!

i've pretty much been calling the multi-touch board "John King's Magic Touch-Screen".... lame, i know, but......that's kinda it

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:24 pm ET

oh man who told Anderson to get rid of the wah wah wah.....that was so great. That's how we knew if Anderson did not like the winner :P

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:24 pm ET

Erica> John King's Portal to Primary Predictions and Polls~

Thats too long, but I went for the alliteration.

Lilibeth   April 21st, 2008 10:24 pm ET

What? no waa waa waa for Beat 360? That's too bad...I like the waa waa waa......LOL!

Sahira   April 21st, 2008 10:24 pm ET

Hey Erica, say hi to John for me and tell him I love his magic wall!

john king   April 21st, 2008 10:25 pm ET

how's everyone tonight?
a few points that i think answer some of the questions:
if obama carries the philadelphia area with a decent margin, he COULD lose the state but still get close to a 50-50 delegate split.
the delegate math is only part of the story. senator clinton needs to narrow the gap in the popular vote AND win the bulk of the remaining states to have a strong argument for the superdelegates. a tough task. but not impossible which is why we are all so interested, isnt it!

Tracey - Boston   April 21st, 2008 10:25 pm ET

I like the John Smart-Board King

Robert Stephenson   April 21st, 2008 10:25 pm ET

OBAMA '08.....YES WE CAN..... IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE.......

Claire,Long Island, NY   April 21st, 2008 10:26 pm ET

Obama keeps talking about how he will change the way we do business in DC. He is already in DC, what change has he even made an attempt at? He reminds me of a Shaman, lots of smoke surrounding him with the hope that the magic will happen!! With Hillary in the White House we won't be waiting for the magic to happen because we won't need it!

Kelly   April 21st, 2008 10:26 pm ET

Hi Anderson, good evening.

While Smart Board is definitely catchy, alas, it's taken... already copyrighted by another company for their technology.

Eric / John,

How about the "Electorial Scoreboard" or ESB? Hmmm?

Everyone needs a Magic Wall!!

xtina, chicago IL   April 21st, 2008 10:27 pm ET

i feel sorry for states who haven't had their primary – it's as if the early states have the upper hand -not fair

EJ - Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:27 pm ET

Hello John King – Nice work on the "multi touch" board. You seem to always enjoy that thing.

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:27 pm ET

Joh you're on the blog.....you rock!!!!!!

Thanks for answering the question.

BTW – You need a pic up like Anderson and Erica

ben   April 21st, 2008 10:27 pm ET

You guy need to stop this black, white thing on your show. These are hidden racial code words. It doesn't matter who vote for Obama or Hillary. They are all American!

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:27 pm ET

Kathy K> I think its about who is strong enough to win against Republicans. And I was 50/50 on the candidates, but in my eyes Obama has promised to be above usual politics, yet he has his claws out too. I don't blame either for getting dirty, but Hillary never said she was "above" it. That's why I know Hillary is my candidate now.

Angelique   April 21st, 2008 10:28 pm ET

Erica, evening.
I would like to know what the difference in rally participation is tonight in PA. Anybody know?

Chanda   April 21st, 2008 10:28 pm ET

Kathy i agree, most women i know are disgusted by Hillary, i have family in NY and they are really not liking the Hillary of late, they feel she's gotten very cheap.

Carmen, Marina, CA   April 21st, 2008 10:28 pm ET

I predict PA will go for Hillary by 8-12 points. Any bloggers with different spread points?

Chuck in Alabama   April 21st, 2008 10:28 pm ET

Why all the demographics? I thought the great "Uniter" was going to bring them all together? LOL

MAGIC TOUCH-SCREEN!!!!!!
pretty sure that's not copyrighted..... :D

Erica Hill
CNN

I think it would have to be ESB - electorial smartboard is a mouthful!

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:29 pm ET

Yeh right, as if college education has some correlation to who you vote for. All this categorizing seems so pointless and insulting to me.

Kim   April 21st, 2008 10:29 pm ET

Lesli, lol, so at least we are agreed on who the nominee should be ;-) although we can't afford to lose a great journalist to politics really...

Jolene   April 21st, 2008 10:29 pm ET

Hi John King! Glad to see you tonight! Well, since John is the only one I've ever seen using the multi-touch board, I would call it the "John-Touch" board....oh no....on second thought that probably is not such a good idea....LOL! Plus, cleaning the finger prints marks would drive me nuts.

Chanda   April 21st, 2008 10:29 pm ET

But im sure there is one thin every one agrees on, that its almost finally over in Pennsylvania, it has been brutal , exasperating and tiring!

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

I think Hillary will be 7 – 9 points.....I don't see her going higher then 11 but what do I know :P

why does the media speculate and separate voters into blocks? we're all just "one vote – one person" ...

Kevin Leo from Jonesboro, GA   April 21st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

Carmen – I am expecting Hillary to win by 5 – 8 points (although I am praying Barack upsets her!!!!)

Yvonne   April 21st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

The vote will sway in favor of Obama tomorrow in Pennsylvania. He will be elected President in November and will be successful in bringing prosperity to the economy, peace in the Middle East and unity in Washington.

Kim   April 21st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

John, great to hear from you! So, what margin does Obama need in Philly to come close to Hillary statewide or in the delegate count?

Anderson's Tie '08!! :P

SARA R. HENRY   April 21st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

WE NORTH CAROLINIANS WOULD LIKE TO THINK WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON. I KNOW SOME WHO HAVE CHANGED TO DEMOCRATE IN ORDER TO VOTE FOR HILLARY....YET CNN SEEMS TO THINK IT'S OVER IF SHE DOES NOT WIN IN PENNSYLVANIA.

WE ARE A STATE IN NC AND NO ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL HILLARY TO QUIT. WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE OUR CHANCE JUST LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER HORRID WAYS OF HAVING
A PRIMARY. JUST SEEMS LIKE A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.

Good evening Anderson, Erica, bloggers, and AC360 staff.

Whew hew... This is a shout out for the single woman. Get out and vote. Looking forward to seeing your piece on this after the commercial break.

Can't wait until tomorrow night. Should be interesting.

Chuck in Alabama   April 21st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

After watching the whole commercial, I think the issues portrayed are extremely valid. Major issues were exhibited in "snipits." What better "snipit" for the war on terror than a pic of bin Laden?

Dan McDermott   April 21st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

How come the bars on Bill's graphic charts were so wildly inaccurate and did not at all reflect the numbers next to them? On the above-60 voter chart for example it said that 60-some percent voted for Hillary and 28% for Obama but the bars were quite close together?

Michael   April 21st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

Carmen ~ I'll take Hillary for 3-5 points

Cathy   April 21st, 2008 10:32 pm ET

Hillary was wonderful on LKL – as always.

Obama was asked to be on the same show, but didn't have time. He also didn't have time to answer a foreign policy question today from a reporter – Obama whined that he wanted to be left alone to eat his waffle.

Nice to know he has his priorities straight. In the unlikely chance he becomes POTUS, I hope his time management skills improve, as I don't think you can put a crisis on hold to finish your waffle.

Why wouldn't Senator Obama have to outspend Senator Clinton by 2 to 1? No one before has ever run against someone who has spent 8 years in the White House. The term "name recognition" doesn't begin to explain hurdle of overcoming "Clinton."

Jen in Mex.   April 21st, 2008 10:36 pm ET

Hillary will win tomorrow because of her clear message of confidence, love to the country, and hope! Hope that we can truly unite for a common good of our people, our country, and our planet.
I think she can win big – about 18 points.

Hllary 08!

We hear so much about the polls, but who are they polling and how are they getting such identifying info on the poll participants? I sometimes vote in little opinions on the internet, but I'm just curious. I'm one of those older white women and I'm sure not voting for Hillary. Who are they asking? And how much is asked in exit polls. How can we go by the polls (which obviously we can't) if you're not polling everyone?

Chuck in Alabama   April 21st, 2008 10:37 pm ET

"Debates are not his thing." Makes me wonder if he'll be lousy at debate when it comes to foriegn policy with less than friendly opponents?

Gary in Kent, Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:37 pm ET

I grew up in Cleveland, lived in Wilmington Del. for a while and have close friends from Pittsburgh.....I would strongly predict that the only area Obama will pull from is the Southeastern part of PA. I believe Obama's "bitter" statements and his numerous, "well, what I meant to say's" will cost him with the voters. I would also point out that in this region of the country the college educated people are making about the same as their blue collar counter parts so the educational divide I believe holds less of a factor than you may think in this State.

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:38 pm ET

Erica Hill> "Brain"? I'll take it! :P lol

chris   April 21st, 2008 10:38 pm ET

Hi my name is chris I am a 29 year old college student from Scranton P.A. and I am going to vote for Hillary for the reasons that she has more and better ideas for college students and our troops in Iraq those are just a few topics why i am going to vote for Hillary I also feel she will win with double digits

Penny   April 21st, 2008 10:39 pm ET

I think Hillary will win the state by 15-18 points. I think the undecided vote is crucial and will be in favor of Clinton. I also believe that the pope with his comments about God Bless America will also have a big impact on Catholics who are already voting in favor of Clinton, She may have a big win...

kathy in ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:39 pm ET

why when hillary wins it is name recongnition

doesnt make sense

Ok, can't wait to see this unmarried woman voter report.

Sara, people will definitely be paying attention to your vote and to Indiana's.

My in-laws were in town this wkd - they live in IN - and said it's exciting to have their primary matter, noting it's the first time in a long time they've seen this kind of attention.

Carmen, Marina, CA   April 21st, 2008 10:40 pm ET

Brain Persaud-I love your alliteration for John King's Portal to Primary Predictions and Polls! How about P4 Board? Or P to the 4th Power? Maybe not...might be misunderstood!

Jo Ann, Ohio   April 21st, 2008 10:40 pm ET

Brian Persaud: Funny thing is that each side tries to justify their own negativity when in reality they have both been playing the same nasty game.

Lilibeth   April 21st, 2008 10:40 pm ET

I personally like "Cooper-Hill 08!" If they were the ticket, they would win for sure! By a landslide!

Anderson,

Hi! Happy Monday.
It seems the candidates must have reached every person in the state of Pennsylvania by now, as the campaign has gone on so long. It's still exciting, however–I'm looking forward to tomorrow night.

Yes. Indiana is excited about our primary... can't wait!

Kayle   April 21st, 2008 10:41 pm ET

John, the way that Hillary and Obama split the vote is there even a real point to the popular vote anymore? Btw love the board we've missed it the past month or so.

Chuck in Alabama   April 21st, 2008 10:42 pm ET

Chanda. If he had united all those different demographics months ago, he's already be the nominee. He hasn't, so, he isn't.

Kevin Leo from Jonesboro, GA   April 21st, 2008 10:42 pm ET

Tally – Great point! Barack is not only going up against Hillary but is also having to fight the family name and an ex-president. Outspending her is the only way to counter some built-in roadblocks that he has to overcome as he can not be everywhere that Bill and Hillary are at the same time.

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:42 pm ET

xtina, chicago IL   April 21st, 2008 10:43 pm ET

Obama doesn't want to debate character. He also doesn't appear to want to listen to others' sides . People who don't like to debate are demogogic.

Kathy K   April 21st, 2008 10:44 pm ET

Tally, absolutely right. Hillary had a 20 point lead three weeks ago. She's in debt, has a former husband who's out there, and Obama is spreading a message and his bio in an atmosphere where he is the new guy......this is not an heir to the throne thing.....Clinton's aren't the one's who'll get it done, it's the people of America who really are ready for truth and reality and fairness. I'm a white, 60 year old white, professional female, have been through Vietnam, a culture revolution, republican dismantling the middle-class and the lies that brought us to a war. It's a really desperate time.......and yeah, the tie is great.

One thing is for certain. Americans are learning more about the election process and that can only be a good thing.

Why is the question alway "Why can't Obama get the white blue collar workers vote? (Regan Democrats are Republican since they have voted Republican for 20 plus years). The question should be why can't Clinton win the Black vote ( Blacks vote traditionally democratic) Are Blacks not important to primary and/or general election?

EJ, if I had that kind of power with gas prices, I'd be one happy lady! If only...

Brian Persaud   April 21st, 2008 10:50 pm ET

Wow only 10 minutes left...I've been so absorbed in the blog, I've just been listening.

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:51 pm ET

Andrew, Lafayette IN   April 21st, 2008 10:51 pm ET

look at the popular vote..

xtina, chicago IL   April 21st, 2008 10:52 pm ET

OBAMA SAYING HE's not into debates? If you're strong in your beliefs, you shouldn't fear debates, you should welcome them.

Kim   April 21st, 2008 10:52 pm ET

Erica,

You are too sweet! Love Cooper but every time I see him he is sitting down promising a blog that is why it is Hill-Cooper for me!

It's a city that's been on my list of places to visit for some time... one of these days I'll get there!

Yvonne~
The math is never clear in politics. It is all about delegates and superdelegates. No, there is no clear winner yet.
All states are not equal~

Jolene   April 21st, 2008 10:52 pm ET

You could call it "The Best Political Board on TV"? I know, so original...hehe BTW, what ever happened to the Anderson's Pizza Pie Chart? Did it get scrapped like the wah wah wah? I thought it was cool!

Zing-Zing, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:52 pm ET

Erica, you've never been?

lahai kemo   April 21st, 2008 10:52 pm ET

Hat off to Senator Clinton. What the media and the pundits fail to mention is that in most of these contests, Senator Omaba goes in with 5-10% points advantaged based on the voting demographics of the eligible African American voters. The fear is that no one wants to be tagged for metioning what is really the story in this saga. Another pledge taken by Senator Obama is never to been seen on the same stage with the Rev jackson and Al sharpton. (one reason why he did not attend the forum hosted by Tavis Smiley). His fear was that Jesse and Al Sharpton will also be attending. H e was not in Mephis for the King Memoral for fear of running into Jesse. I'm not sure if he attended funeral service of judge Pincham.

Hillary has proven that she is for the People of the United States. She has worked hard for health care for all. She has what it takes to be the best President. I was a single mother working a full time job in the 90"s and had insurance but I still made it without getting any government help. I worked and it didn't hurt!!!!!!!

Megan Dresslar   April 21st, 2008 10:53 pm ET

Erica?
Can we will join live blog tomorrow? I agree with Megan O.

Kathy, Chicago   April 21st, 2008 10:53 pm ET

Yes Jay, they are really called "Pittsburgers"! Our college campus was half Philly and half Pittsburgers. We had fun teasing each other.

Ha! We feel his spirit. He's in all of us!

Tell Anderson we all said hello – and of course we love his tie.

good night everyone!

pssssstt..... magic touch-screen!!!!!! yes.

john king   April 21st, 2008 10:57 pm ET

hi kim .. well i cant give you a precise answer without knowing the turnout .. (and if i had that power .......) but if clinton carries the blue collar belts in the east and west by 10-12 points, he would (because of population) need to run up a huge margin in the center city and then carry the suburban collar as well. the percentages are impossible to know unless you know turnnout statewide, as well as the african american turnout in philly.

Megan O. Toronto, ON, Canada   April 21st, 2008 10:57 pm ET

Well all looking forward to tomorrow. It will be exciting no matter what happens......Go OBAMA!!!!!!! (Had to add that)
