Leave it alone. Why isn't anything said about the things that Rev. Wright did in the past 30 years that were positive. I know it was not all negative. Why not ask the other 8000 plus congregation about the Rev? Has anyone looked into his service to the country while he was a Marine?

JOE AND DAVID, OBAMA supporters are not dismissing Wrights' statements, we chose to look past them and not JUDGE OBAMA, for what Wright said or did. Fact is we (the public) have no idea what WRIGHT has done for his community, we only heard a sound bite of his 30+ year career!

People need to remember this is not about Obama being accountable for what someone, Anyone, else says. It is about his judgement. His decision to belong to this racially segregated, hate spewing church. He is the one that decided to run for President. He is open to scrutiny of his entire life. He lied to CNN and FOX initially saying he had no knowledge of these hateful sermons prior to running for President then changed the story a few days later. He then threw his grandmother out with the trash but would not denounce his pastor, because he was like an uncle. Now he is telling us what his pastor has said to him that allowed him to remain in the church...COME on, some common sense please. Investigate more. We need to know about the people that want to be head of this country.

The Bear Stearns deal is the best example of the Bush-McCain's policy of "let them eat cake" towards the American people. The fact that they have no shame in this matter is clear. The would do well to remember what history can show has happened to "rulers" who took that attitude in the past.

My question is why is Bear Stearns getting such a huge and timely response to their need? And the individual homeowner has to suffer, and wonder if they will get any help at all. Will this help the ecomony over all? Who is going to help that homeowner that needs it?

Hey Anderson and Erica! I dont understand why Obama being "liberal" is a negative. If caring about all people (not just corporations) and treating people fairly is "liberal", thats a good thing.
