I wonder if there is a microwave large enough to hold Mauldin. Twenty minutes might be a better punishment than twenty years. Then we might cool him off with cold saltwater.

Erica, I know how crime against anyone and more so on a child really impacts you, the update is going to be tough. With a story like that one how dumb we look fighting over taking out trash n stuff. Erica I think that by keeping our minds healthy we could avoid such madness. By the way great job with Randi. (speaking of madness. UCLA.)

Mauldin should have been sentenced for life. What he did was beyond unspeakable. There are no words to describe the cruelty of his actions.

A balance of fair fighting and humor is good in any relationship. Both men and women need to speak up and be able to ask for what they want to get their needs met. I know bottling up feelings is not good...they can explode one day...

I guess being slim is good all around...it's good for us not only physically but mentally as well.

And don't worry about your posts being short. They're always good and we love to hear from you...wish I can say the same of your friend over there who no longer blogs (yes, you have my permission to hit him...LOL!)

The guy putting his daughter into the microwave and then turning it on reminds me of a scene from the movie "Gremlins". In that movie, a gremlin monster is chased into a microwave, microwave is turned on, monster spins round and round, and then the creature explodes in the microwave from being cooked.

Anyway, I think that guy got off too easy, his sentence is barely a handslap.

This is reminiscant of the fat teenager from clarke county Ga who masked her pregnancy under a fat body and then birthed the child at home one day. The next day the girl's father found it when he was investigating what the buzzards were after in his back yard. It is all very sickening.
This just happened maybe two weeks ago.

For the record, I ain't showing my little nieces that "Bimbo" game! They know they better play "Hello Kitty" as far as I'm concerned....LOL!!!!

There was a woman here in Ohio who did the same thing to her baby – and the baby died. I believe the woman was sentenced a few weeks ago.

I just can't read those types of stories anymore. It's just unthinkable and extremely sad. I honestly don't click on certain links anymore because of the insanity of it. People just do so many sick things and it's even more horrific when they do it to babies and children.

Re: the couples fighting

I don't have a boyfriend/husband now so I just fight with the pundits on TV. I'm not sure if that's healthy or not.

A solution to the guy in TX who microwaved his baby daughter: sterilize him. Anyone in favor of leaving open the possibility that he will microwave any future children??
