So McCain and Obama are at it over Iraq! I love it! This political season is just drawing all the bitterness out! LOL I have to say that Obama does sound a little lost on that issue. I mean to say he is going to pull out all the troops from Iraq but then say he will go back in to stop al qaeda from setting up camp. Well what does he think we are doing now? And what does he think will happen if we leave…which won’t happen no matter who wins the presidency. He is contradicting himself. And to throw in that they wouldn’t be there if Bush hadn’t invaded was his way of skirting the question because he hasn’t a clue.

I love that Cunningham thinks McCain threw him under the Straight Talk Express just because he doesn’t agree with what he said about Obama. In all reality he needs to be tossed under a bus for the trash he spews.

Cutts only got 54 to life! I was hoping for more. But atleast he’ll never get out of prison.

I agree with the school on keeping the boy out unless he gets his hair cut. Anything that proves a distraction from learning shouldn’t be allowed. You are in school to learn not to show off or look good. That’s why there are dress codes.

Seriously, does Congress NOT have ANYTHING better to do to earn their salaries with my tax-paying dollars?! I’d be glad to send them a list of items that rank slightly higher in priority than whether or not Clemens lied about using steriods. Here are few to consider: upgrading decaying infrastructure here in the US, dealing with the economy, education, bringing the deficit back under control and into the black (maybe consider eliminating pork from it?)

As for the lady who received the horse as a tip — good for her for keeping him. With the price of feed and so many horses being shipped to the feed lots because their owners can no longer afford to care for them, this horse is very lucky to have ended up with her. And kudos to the previous owner for doing this.

Finally, as to Cunningham — since he’s through supporting McCain and joining Ann Coulter in supporting Hillary, what’s he going to do if Obama is the Democrat’s nominee? Will he eat his words and support McCain afterall?

My first thought was of losing John Paul II, followed by memories of Walker Percy, my maternal grandmother who insisted that it was nearly as important for her 6 year old grandson to faithfully ‘attend’ “Firing Line” each Saturday afternoon as 6:30 am Sunday Mass.

It’s been nice to share 42 years with WFB. He’s probably bantering with St. Peter–imagine. We exchanged a number of hand written letters in the 80’s and 90’s primarily focused on Percy, Jung, and John Paul II.

He really missed the man from Poland ? Any stories about their contacts ?

Did he spend any time with Walker Percy ?

How did he handle his wife’s death ?

Did WFB ever inhale ? I believe he did.

Maybe my views on what a sentence should be for comitting a hindeous crime are too far out there for the average person. Bobby Cutts should have gotten the death penalty for the crime he committed nothing less is justice served. If killing an 8 1/2 month pregnant woman and her unborn child does not deserve the death penatly then what crime does?

What happened to CNN nowadays ? Seems like CNN has been so biased favorably towards Obama. We, the american people expects the media to broadcast the entire political spectrum not just the sugar coated news about Obama. CNN is being unfair not just to Obama’s opponents but to us the american people. I am writing as an independent voter. Pretty soon, CNN/media will be branded as corrupt, … very sad. We want the CNN it used to be.
