Oh, the set is so beautiful! I can’t get over all those boxes! They look so cute! The Kodak Theater is an amazing venue for this event!

I wish I can get my projects done that fast! Nice work! :)

Thanks,

Thanks for the behind the scenes look! I actually like this set better than last nights. Let’s hope that this debate goes as well and that we get straight answers and not just alot of fighting.

Boy those guys work fast! Can you send them over to remodel my house?

I’m really looking forward to tonight’s debate. Here’s hoping it’s civil and informative!

M Napper   January 31st, 2008 6:42 pm ET

I wanted to thank you for the comment you made to Gov. Romney last night. It was right on target. As the Governor was bipassing a question about whether the country was better off now than it was 8 years ago and Mr. Romney started to tell us about his time as a governor, you said “are you running for governor or the presidency.” It was perfect! A candidate that cannot answer something as simple as the one asked should not be running.

Lorie Ann   January 31st, 2008 8:11 pm ET

Nice looking set, looks like the final night on American Idol. All that’s missing is Simon. Last night’s set was quite stunning too. Air Force One was the ultimate center piece.

I think I need to puke. Hillary now is acting like she is running for the Miss America pageant and answering questions about world peace. How can someone who has run such a negative campaign about Barrack and has tried to appear as the authoritative leader for months now act like my grandmother offering me cookies? More importantly, how can voters continue to let her off the hook? How can people believe a word she says when all she does is change her message and personality based on what is best for her?

Lou Duffer   January 31st, 2008 9:06 pm ET

Hillary Clinton says she’s concerned about the American family losing $1,000 in salary but she has no concern about the average family losing $1,800/year in net income if she and Obama get their way and the Bush tax cuts are not extended.

Why doesn’t someone confront her on this instead of giving her a free pass on specificity.

Debbie   January 31st, 2008 9:12 pm ET

Illegal Immigration- is illegal not to be called undocumented workers- We need to address the real problem. These people deserve ZERO, NOTHING -THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS - Barrack even proudly states that he helped sponsor a bill that would allow the illegals children to receive monies from our goverment to go to college - please how can anyone believe this is right ???? It is difficult enough for a middle class family to send a child to college - the cost is unbelievable- and we pay taxes - the illegals pay nothing to help put back into our country what they are taking !!!! I am very concerned !!!!

Debbie   January 31st, 2008 9:18 pm ET

Health care- Illegals get healthcare by going to the hospital- they can’t turn them away- who do you think pays for that ?? Anyone knows that you have to put back what you take from this country other wise Middle class America will no longer be able to take care of EVERYONE- I am personally tired of paying for everyone to do nothing !!! This has to end

Annie Kate   January 31st, 2008 9:52 pm ET

That was cool. Reminds me of putting a jigsaw puzzle together. Now if you can make the debate go that fast that would be great!! Thanks for another great video!

Tonight was the moment of truth. Both Hillary and Obama looked the entire middle class of America in the eye and told us they wanted to take back the money from our pockets and give it to whomever they felt deserved it more. Both candidates, as well as everybody in the audience, makes many times more money as the average middle class viewer. Yet tonight they looked us in the eye and said the average two-parent family will be fine after they raise our taxes $1K-$2K per year. Easy to say for someone who sends their kids to school in England and collects millions from books. The rest of us “rich” people are trying to pay our electric bills.

Grace   January 31st, 2008 10:02 pm ET

Did anybody else think that the “voters” attending the debate (when panned by the camera) were the privileged in our country? Were there any “ordinary” people in attendance? I do not believe those of us who work, raise children, pay taxes and are part of our communities are “ordinary”. I believe this is one of the issues of access to politicians that must be addressed in the next administration. I do believe that we did get a few more specific answers tonight about what they plan to do when they are elected.

Chris Borre   January 31st, 2008 10:06 pm ET

What ? No blood tonight? Too bad they couldn’t act like civil human beings in the beginning. Were they auditioning for a role? Great performance. I think they exemplify the the word PHONY.

tommy otterbine   January 31st, 2008 10:09 pm ET

Mr. Cooper……

What about this…… How about if in the end, we have Clinton and Obama on the democratic ticket for President and the vice president!! I think that would be the ultimate chance for change. To have a Arican American and a woman as the president and vice president would make a serious statement to the world that we indeed are the freest and most diverse country in the world! What do you think?? This would be the classic statement that ANYONE can be the president if they put their mind to it!

Hillary Clinton speaks in specifics. Barrack Obama speaks in generalities. While he is an elequant speaker, I have never heard him give an idea of how he would resolve any problems. Why is he not being asked to take any stand.

He followed on her coat tail. She would answer and he would agree. I am tired of hearing that he did not vote for the war. It has been done. What will he do about the war.

MattB   January 31st, 2008 10:26 pm ET

Clinton’s vote to authorize the war was based on bad intelligence from the Bush Administration and their hidden agenda. The longer you serve in office, the more heavily scrutinized you are because you have voted on more issues and no one is right 100% of the time.

Michael   January 31st, 2008 10:27 pm ET

I have been undecided until tonight and I think both of them did well but Barack Obama seems to be more suited to become the Next President of the United States and I think they would make a great team.

Chris Borre   January 31st, 2008 10:46 pm ET

I agree Walt. I’m very concerned about the economy, but MORE concerned about Iran, Iraq, China, and the never-ending potential for fighting to erupt over there. What will she or Obama do when we are attacked again? Does anyone believe that if Clinton or Obama win, pull our troops out, that an American facility, Embassy, ship, or an American citizenwon’t be attacked or killed again just because a Democrat is in the White House. Iran took hostages in 1979. And who was President then? This didn’t start with 9-11. Osama was around during Bill’s rein. He’s still out there, and his psycho disciples. What will Hillary or Obama do? Lob a few missiles overseas from the White House and think, “Problem Solved.” Or maybe that garbage U.N. will carry the bat for us and make peace for our sake?
How many Americans would have to die before she and Bill made a move if and when we are attacked again?

Heidi B   January 31st, 2008 10:48 pm ET

you guys need to cut back on the coffee

Diane from Goodyear AZ   January 31st, 2008 10:49 pm ET

I LOVED the debate tonite! I don’t want the pundits to spin what I saw tonight. I thought tonight’s debate showed the rest of the world what we as democrats have known for a long time….. we know that democrats really mean change. Republicans mean status quo.

Holly   January 31st, 2008 10:58 pm ET

They both are talking about not renewing Bush’s tax cuts on Americans that make over $250,00 or more a year. That’s not middle class, at least in most of the country. If you look at the tax rate (percentage wise) that the upper class pay it is LESS than the percent that the middle class pay. That’s what they want to even out. Why should middle class/poor people pay a higher percentage than those that make over $250k a year? That’s not at all fair.

Yvonne   January 31st, 2008 10:59 pm ET

Hillary has not mentioned what are the penalties for individuals who do not get healthcare. that does not appear that she is for each person’s rights. Will we have option to choose no flu shots, etc?? How about if she will definitely negotiate as much as possible before any military action when any problem of possible threats come up? Hopefully she will put the people FIRST before the corporations or BiIlderburg ’s .

Sabrina in Los Angeles   February 1st, 2008 12:30 am ET

too cool.

I like the boxes and how they fit into the slots.

You have an interesting job.

Debbie   February 1st, 2008 10:18 am ET

Obama basically calls Hillary old school; she’s from the Washington crowd. Well his endorsers are more old school. Ted Kennedy, Mr. Leahy. He’s a hypocrite. I also agree with another comment that Obama speaks in generalities, the media doesn’t address that. The bar is set higher for Hillary. It’s not fair.
I do not like Obama at all. He acts like George Bush-arrogant and obnoxious.
